It took a whole lot of research, a good stint of study and design and a number of prototypes, and finally The Little Mule was born.

Bear
Designer – Mechanic
Legend has it that Ben is a descendant of a Norwegian Sasquatch or one of the Polish mountain men from a long line of the Hussars, but we simply know him as the Bear.
The mastermind behind our hand crafted track frames, each frame size that Bear designs follows a set formula and geometrical perfection that maths geeks would blush at. With each and every frame size drawn up individually by this man, he’s crafted all that one could desire in bicycle engineering.
Despite his appearance, Ben is also a fun bloke who has been riding fixies for years with his crazy Norwegian crew. He can often be seen cruising the Melbourne streets, whatever the season.
Huge
Co – Founder
You can find Hugh bombing around the city on his blue and grey prototype. He’s generally grinning, except for those rare moments he finds himself in some sort of altercation with a car, sidewalk or lamppost.
Huge was born a computer nerd, and having eaten computers for most of his life knows the importance of top quality components. Putting his amazing internetting abilities to work he has sourced some of the best bike parts from across the globe. As the tester of all our prototypes he has had some impressive stacks, and although there may be barely a mark on the bike frame, Huge has some good battle scars to show for it.
Huge has been riding bikes since he could crawl and is good with his hands, so you know your bike won’t fall to pieces or go on fire.
Matt
Co – Founder
For some reason his close friends call him Boots, he doesn’t even know why.
If it has two wheels he’ll ride it. If you don’t see Matt cruising around the streets on ‘Pepe’ or ‘Orville’, his favourite Little Mules, he’ll be on the back of his cafe racer or any motorcycle he can get his hands on. Two wheels is a lifestyle and an adventure for this guy.
Hamish

Loves bikes & coffee, that’s why he’s here. Don’t be fooled by his rugged good looks and surly demeanour, Hamish is a top bloke. Extremely passionate about coffee & food, there’s allot love that goes into it, without an ounce wasted on latte art.

Another bike & coffee lover. Goes head to head with Hamish for the best coffee, tough to make a call between the two. Has quite the talent with camera as well. Full of energy with quite a cheeky funny side.
